Alex Diamant
Alexandra Faye Diamant is the Outreach and Operations Administrator for TCIP. She has over 25 years of hospitality experience, starting as a hotelier while simultaneously studying Biological Anthropology at Rutgers University. She managed the front office at a luxury hotel, The Vintage Inn in Yountville, CA, between 2007 and 2017, then ran events and administrative operations for the Berkeley Center for Law and Business at Berkeley Law from 2017 to 2021, including the FORM+FUND Workshops for Berkeley-affiliated founders, the Leadership Lunch Talks for JD and LL.M. students, and the Independent Board Directors Initiative, a two-day intensive for aspiring corporate board members.
In 2021, Alexandra pivoted to become the Marketing and Client Development Specialist for UC Berkeley Law Executive Education, where she oversaw marketing, sales, and business development functions. With TCIP, Alexandra is thrilled to return to her hospitality roots, hosting center programs.
April Tablante
April Tablante is the Administrative Officer for UC Berkeley’s Technology Competitiveness and Industrial Policy Center, where she supports the center’s operations, leadership coordination, and external engagement. With more than a decade of experience in federal government service at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Transportation Security Administration, she brings deep expertise in executive support, policy coordination, budget tracking, procurement, stakeholder communications, and operational planning in high-stakes environments. Her background in public service has shaped a disciplined, mission-driven approach to building efficient systems, supporting cross-functional teams, and advancing work that requires both precision and long-term strategy—skills that align closely with TCIP’s focus on strengthening U.S. competitiveness through research, policy, and institutional collaboration.
Zoe Goldstein
Zoe Goldstein is Communications Director for UC Berkeley's TCIP. Prior to joining TCIP, she coordinated communications for a range of organizations, including the New York City Council's Speaker's Office and CUNY's Teaching and Learning Conference. She has taught interdisciplinary courses on socio-ecological challenges at universities for eleven years, and is currently a Lecturer of Environmental Studies at Stanford University in the School of Humanities and Sciences and the Doerr School of Sustainability. Zoe received her PhD in English from the CUNY Graduate Center and her MFA in Writing from New York University. Her scholarship and creative work have been supported by the Jane Marcus award and the Futures Initiative among other grants, and have appeared or are forthcoming in a dozen journals and anthologies.
